Tip #1 For Guitar Students -- All Levels
One way to improve your guitar playing, regardless of your skill level, is to set a regular time each day to practice and to stick with that same time.
For example, if a whole week goes by after reading this article and you still find yourself playing video games the majority of the time, then that may be something you may not want to find out about yourself, which, by the way, doesn't bode too well for improving your guitar playing any time soon.
However, if this article motivates you to pick up your guitar every day for 10 or more minutes, then you've just discovered the secret to not only improving your guitar playing, but rising above the average.
However, if you want to be great at something, like playing the guitar like Segovia, John Williams or Eddie Van Halen, then it all starts with figuring out what's important in your life and then doing what it takes to reach that goal -- and sometimes that means letting go of some things and grabbing onto to others.
So, scheduling a set time every day for guitar practice and sticking to that time is the first step to improving your guitar playing.
In other words, if you continue to practice the guitar this week the way you did last week and the week before that -- how much closer will you be to playing the guitar the way you really want to play?
How much better will you be in a month? In 6 months? In a year?
