Focus For 30 Minutes Every Day — Depending on the student’s age, this may take a few weeks, or even a few months to build up to, but focusing for 30 minutes every day is a mental exercise that helps refine your mind.

• If you truly want to master something, there has to be a thought process involved.
  

There has to be a high degree of FOCUS.

Students who rush through their practice just to get it done will never have the intellectual edge that comes from laser-like focus.  

A little focus goes a long way.

How do you apply laser-like focus to music lessons?

It’s very simple: Take a few minutes before you practice and think about what you need to accomplish.

• After you have finished practicing, think about what you’ve just accomplished and start thinking about what you’d like to accomplish during your next practice session.
  

That’s it! This is how you begin to develop laser-like focus!
